Hull have completed a permanent deal for on-loan midfielder George Boyd.

The 27-year-old, who joined the Tigers from Peterborough in February and has now signed a two-year deal, was out of contract at London Road.

The Chatham-born Scotland international scored four goals in 13 games as Hull won promotion to the Premier League.

Boyd was Peterborough's record signing when he moved from non-league Stevenage in 2007 and his 297 appearances came across all three Football League tiers.
