Glasgow City too strong for Spartans in League Cup final

Ruesha Littlejohn scored a hat-trick as Glasgow City cruised to a comfortable 5-0 League Cup final win against Spartans at Alloa's Recreation Park.
Littlejohn nodded in the opener from a second minute corner and added two impressive strikes.
Sue Lappin also found the net with a header, while Leanne Ross converted a late penalty.
Keeper Rachel Harrison made a number of saves for Spartans, playing in their fourth straight final.
The one-sided victory sets City up for a repeat of last season's domestic clean sweep of trophies.
"I'm delighted for everybody at the club," said City head coach Eddie Wolecki Black.
"I had spoken to the girls before the game and told them to cherish every Cup Final as you never know if this will be the last one you will ever play in.
"I think on the night, we got off to a great start and we are a very, very difficult team to beat once we get ahead.
"Personally I thought Ruesha and Suzanne Malone created a lot of problems for the Spartans back four, but it is not about individuals, it is a team performance and while Ruesha will steal the accolades with a hat-trick in the Cup final, it is a team effort."
