Lech Poznan 'will continue chase for Motherwell's Henrik Ojamaa'

Lech Poznan will continue to pursue Henrik Ojamaa despite having their latest offer rejected by Motherwell, says the Estonia striker's agent.

Jonne Lindblom claims clubs in the United States are also interested.

"Lech Poznan are still really keen on Henrik and they are likely to come back with an improved offer," he said.

"Ojamaa is attracting interest from all around Europe and even from MLS. But, at the moment, Lech Poznan is the only concrete offer."

The 22-year-old Ojamaa, who has earned 10 caps, has impressed since his move from Finnish top-flight club RoPS.

"Henrik is happy at Motherwell," Lindblom told BBC Scotland. "But, if a right club comes with a right offer, he is ready to take the next step in his career."

Lech are looking to the Scottish market again after the Polish top-flight outfit signs Dundee United left-back Barry Douglas.

However, Motherwell chief executive Leeann Dempster said: "The bid we have received does not match our valuation of the player.

"We understand there's likely to be a considerable amount of interest in Henrik given just how well he has performed since arriving at the club in January 2012.

"He scored five goals in his first seven matches after joining the club and created more goals than any other player in the Scottish Premier League last season; that obviously hasn't gone unnoticed."
