Southampton: Frazer Richardson among eight players released

Southampton have released eight players, including defensive duo Frazer Richardson and Danny Butterfield.

The others are defender Dan Seabourne, left back Ryan Dickson, strikers Ben Reeves and Sam Hoskins, goalkeeper Tommy Forecast and midfielder Alberto Seidi.

"We would like to thank those players leaving the club for all of their efforts whilst representing Southampton," said a Saints statement.

"And wish them well with their future."
