Aldershot Town have been accepted into the Conference Premier with a 10-point deduction for being in administration.

The Shots, who entered administration on 2 May, finished bottom of League Two, three points adrift of safety.

Just six players remain on the club's books after administrators Quantuma Restructuring made 13 redundant.

The Hampshire side have £1m worth of debts and owe £300,000 to football creditors, but were voted into the division at the Conference's AGM.

Supporters' group The Shots Trust has stated its intention to take community ownership of the club and has instigated a pre-share offer to prove its viability., external
