Alfreton boss Nicky Law has signed ex-Burton Albion utility man Kristian Ramsey-Dickson on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old, who can play as a striker or at centre-back, has joined the part-time Reds to ensure he can continue with his full-time job.

He joined Burton in 2011 from Midlands Football Combination side Continental Star, but failed to play a first-team game and was released last summer.

"I think Kristian has loads of potential," Law told the club website., external

"He is something different for us and he can make a big impact in this division."

A former Great Britain basketball player, Ramsey-Dickson had a trial at League Two Chesterfield at the end of the season.
