Leeds United: Brian McDermott pleased with home start

Manager Brian McDermott believes starting the new Championship campaign at home is a big plus for Leeds United.
The Whites will face Brighton at Elland Road on 3 August, by which time McDermott hopes to have further added to his squad of players.
"It's good to be at home, that's always nice," McDermott told BBC Radio Leeds.
"We look forward to it, but we have a lot to do beforehand, we have all pre-season, we're trying to sign players, there's a lot to be done."
United follow that match with a trip to Leicester City, like Brighton expected to be among the contenders for promotion.
But McDermott said he did not look beyond the opening fixture.
"I know we're playing Blackpool away at Christmas, and that we're playing Derby at home in the final game, but the fixtures are what they are and we take what we're given.
"What I look ahead to is going back into work, looking around the training ground trying to get the improvements we need doing done.
"The players come back on 27 June and we'll be doing two testing days with the fitness coaches. Then we start in earnest on the Monday and we'll make sure we get the training right. There's a process in place we need to get through before Brighton."
