Rochdale sign ex-Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham

Rochdale have signed free agent Ashley Eastham following his departure from Blackpool on a two-year contract.

The 22-year-old defender spent most of last season on loan at Bury, making 18 appearances for the Shakers.

Eastham has also had loan spells at Cheltenham, Carlisle, Fleetwood and Notts County.

"I believe I have made the right choice because I'm sure this club is going to be successful," he told the club website.
