New Sheffield United manager David Weir has added former Rangers coach Adam Owen to his backroom staff.
Owen, 32, specialises in football-specific conditioning and injury prevention techniques.
The Welshman, who began his football career playing for Wrexham, has also held a role with the FA of Wales.
Weir said Adam, who takes on the title of 'assistant manager - performance', is one of the most "respected men in his specialist field".
"I'm delighted that he has taken up the offer to join us here at Bramall Lane," Weir told the club's website. "With pre-season almost upon us it was imperative to get Adam in as quickly as possible to organise at this vital time."
