Newly promoted League One club Bradford City have decided not to offer former West Ham and Burnley winger Zavon Hines a new contract.

Hines, 24, scored two goals in 41 appearances for the Bantams, with 15 of them as a substitute.

Bradford manager Phil Parkinson said Hines needed to join a club where he was likely to play more regularly.

In 2009 Hines, who was born in Jamaica but brought up in east London, made two appearances for England Under-21s.

He came on as a substitute for Bradford in their Capital One Cup Final defeat by Swansea City last season.
