Mark Oxley: Hull City goalkeeper set for Oldham loan switch

Oldham Athletic are likely to tie up a loan move for Hull City goalkeeper Mark Oxley by the end of the week.

The Latics need to recruit a new keeper after , external and Dean Bouzanis was released.

Oxley, 23, has made one appearance as a sub for the Tigers, who signed Allan McGregor from Besiktas on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, defender Carl Winchester is the latest Oldham player to sign a new contract, agreeing to extend his stay for another 12 months.

The 20-year-old, who won a senior international cap for Northern Ireland in 2011, made 11 appearances last season.

"I know Carl wants to play in midfield, but I think he has the potential to be a top-class right-back," manager Lee Johnson told the club website., external

Meanwhile, Oldham have confirmed that Senegal international striker Momar N'Diaye is one of a number of players currently on trial at Boundary Park.

The 25-year-old played for French club Metz and in Germany for Frankfurt earlier in his career.
