Promoted League One side Rotherham United have confirmed the signing of Michael Tidser from Greenock Morton for a fee understood to be about £50,000.
Tidser, 23, scored 13 goals for the Scottish club last season, and won the division's player of the year award.
The midfielder has also been capped by Scotland at Under-18 and U19 level.
United manager Steve Evans said: "He is young, has a great pedigree and is a superb passer of the ball, always inventive and creative."
Tidser is Rotherham's seventh signing of the summer and Evans indicated there may be more to come.
"In respect of the squad, my sole focus is now in the strikers department, and we are working towards a conclusion on that which in turn gives us an excellent squad for the challenges that League One will present," he added.
