Defender Carl Tremarco joins Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Left-back Carl Tremarco has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a one-year contract.

The 27-year-old Englishman was loaned to Maltese side Floriana from Macclesfield Town last season.

He played for Tranmere Rovers, Wrexham and Darlington before joining Macclesfield in 2009.

"Carl has been showing his paces with us and we've liked what we've seen", manager Terry Butcher told the Inverness website.

"He's very solid and an excellent tackler and I'm very pleased he's accepted a contract offer.

"He gives us another good option in defence where we have more strength in depth than at any time since I came here."
