Elliot Parish: Bristol City sign ex-Cardiff goalkeeper
- Published
Bristol City have signed former Cardiff goalkeeper Elliot Parish on a two-year contract following a successful trial.
A former Aston Villa trainee, Parish was released by the Bluebirds at the end of last season after failing to make an appearance.
The 23-year-old gained first-team experience during loan spells at Lincoln and Wycombe.
He is the second keeper to join League One-bound City this summer, following Frank Fielding's arrival from Derby.
Head coach Sean O'Driscoll had been looking to rebuild their resources in goal following the departure of former Cardiff man Tom Heaton and back-up keepers Dean Gerken and Lewis Carey.
