Richie Wellens: Leicester City agree to cancel deal

Leicester City have reached an agreement with Richie Wellens to cancel his contract by mutual consent.
The 33-year‐old midfielder joined the Foxes in July 2009, external and was a key figure under Nigel Pearson during the current manager's first stint in charge.
Wellens played 149 games for the club and was player of the season in 2011.
But he suffered a knee ligament injury in 2012 which ruled him out for six months and spent time on loan with Ipswich Town last season.
