Michael Dunford: Crawley Town appoint new chief executive

Crawley Town have appointed Michael Dunford as their new chief executive following the departure of Richard Low.

Dunford, who has previously worked at Derby, Everton, Plymouth, external and Birmingham City,, external also had a role at the FA.

Reds co-owner Susan Carter said: "We are delighted to bring a man of Michael's calibre and experience to the football club in this key role.

"His CV is outstanding but what impressed us just as much was his passion to help take Crawley forward."

She added: "He has vast experience in all aspects of football management including the administrative, finance and commercial sectors, as well as a commitment to making sure the matchday experience for our fans is the best it can be."
