Alex Woodyard: Dartford sign former Southend midfielder

Conference Premier side Dartford have completed the singing of former Southend United midfielder Alex Woodyard.

The 20-year-old made 12 appearances last season but was released by the Roots Hall outfit in April.

Woodyard featured 12 times during a one-month loan spell at Braintree Town last season.

Darts boss Tony Burman said: "Alex comes to us with a good pedigree having been at Southend since the age of 16."
