Ryan Giggs expects Swansea to improve on Premier League debut

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs believes Swansea City can improve on last season's Premier League finish when they were ninth.
Welshman Giggs begins a 22nd season for United as they begin the defence of their title at Swansea on Saturday.
The 39-year-old told Sport Wales: "They can do better than ninth. I've been impressed with Swansea.
"It's always hard for teams that come up and the first thing is survival and then stabilise the club."
He added: "You've seen that over the years.
"The likes of Stoke have done really well in the Premier League a number years now and Swansea look the same sort of team where they're a really stable club."
Giggs went also said that United are experiencing "exciting times" under Sir Alex Ferguson's successor David Moyes.
"He's got similar traits as Sir Alex and he's obviously hard-working and he's passionate about football," Giggs continued
"He wants football to be played in the right way.
"He's aware of the tradition and the history of the club.
"I think he's excited and proud to be taking over Manchester United and he's settled in really well."
However, Giggs admitted working under Moyes, having begun his career from school under Ferguson, is a "big change".
He added: "I'm adjusting OK.
"It's a big change for me because since I joined the club I've only known one manager - Sir Alex.
"So it's a big change. We've had the summer to think about it and now we come back to pre-season and a new manager, new staff and things are going well.
"Even though the manager was a huge influence on my career and I've been here so long, life goes on and you've just got to enjoy it the best you can, which I'm doing.
"It probably didn't hit home until we came back for pre-season and you see the new manager and the new coaches and everything's changed.
"But we're football players and we go out there to play football and that's what we've done pre-season.
"We've gone on tour and when you go on tour, especially a long tour - we went three weeks - it's the perfect chance to get to know how the manager works, how the staff works and the players have enjoyed that aspect.
"So a big change, but it's exciting times."
Sport Wales returns ahead of the new football season on Friday, 16 August at 19:00 BST on BBC Two Wales.
