FC Halifax 1-1 Hereford

  • Published

Hereford United striker Richard Brodie hit his first goal for the Bulls to earn a draw at high-flying Halifax.

The visitors broke the deadlock on eight minutes when Brodie fired the ball past Halifax keeper Matt Glennon.

The Shaymen hit back when Dan Gardner's superb 25-yard free kick was flicked into the back of his own net by Hereford striker Sam Smith.

The Bulls, who had lost their previous three matches, went close to a winner but Glennon kept out Smith's strike.
