Dartford 3-0 Kidderminster

Dartford ended their four-match winless run in style with an emphatic victory over Kidderminster Harriers.

The hosts took the lead on 34 minutes when Jason Prior registered his first goal of the campaign from close range.

Elliot Bradbrook slotted home to double Dartford's lead on 51 minutes before Danny Harris sealed all three points from 12 yards just past the hour.

Harriers struggled to respond but came close to a consolation when Anthony Malbon's free-kick flew wide late on.

The visitors were without both skipper Kyle Storer and centre-half Chey Dunkley, who both withdrew through injury.

Dartford manager Tony Burman tells BBC Radio Kent:

"The guys have come out from the off and they've worked hard, closed Kidderminster down, they deserved the win today.

"You need something to give you a boost. When you score a goal you get a boost, but full credit to Jason Prior. He took his chance well and that gives you the belief.

"It probably could have been more, we had a few chances that could have been put in, but it's nice, it's given us a lift for a few days. You can't beat working hard as a team, I'm really pleased for the players."

Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"We were without two very influential players today but, in saying that, I was expecting more from our lads.

"We had enough chances in the first half to have got ourselves ahead and stayed in the game, but I'm really disappointed with the way we conceded.

"The two goals after half time were killer blows for us. We tried to chase the game and get back into it but we just couldn't do it."
