Carlisle United caretaker manager Graham Kavanagh told BBC Radio Cumbria:

"Today is probably the day where I feel most exhausted, they had a lot more possession and I wouldn't like to see the stats.

Kavanagh relief at Notts victory

"I thought they were very good. I didn't think we deserved to win the game but obviously you take it.

"It's been difficult, the first six games confidence was hugely affected and they've managed to turn it around and shown how good they can be.

"For me [I felt] relief, because I couldn't wait to see the end of the game.

"Once we got the second goal you know that the mentality within a team that's struggling at the bottom of the league is going to feel very, very down.

"They [the board] want to meet me on Monday, so I'm hoping it's 'here's the job'."
