Aldershot Town sign Charlton goalkeeper Nick Pope on loan

Conference Premier side Aldershot Town have signed Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Nick Pope on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old joined the Addicks from non-league Bury Town in 2011 and signed a new deal at the Valley on Wednesday.

He made nine appearances during a loan spell with Cambridge United last term before returning to make his debut for Charlton as a substitute in the final Championship game of the season.

Aldershot currently sit 23rd and visit Kidderminster Harriers on Friday night.
