Raith Rovers stretched their unbeaten run in the Championship to seven matches with victory against Dumbarton.
Calum Elliot put Rovers ahead from close range and Greig Spence sent Jamie Ewings the wrong way from the penalty spot following Paul McGinn's foul.
Dougie Hill headed Raith's third before Bryan Prunty bagged a brace for the Sons, the second a spot-kick after Reece Donaldson had been dismissed.
However, Lewis Vaughan clinched victory for Rovers late on.
