Peter MacDonald scored a brace as Dundee ran riot in an action-packed second half to beat 10-man Dumbarton.
The Dees struck the first blow just after the break when MacDonald's free-kick took a deflection which left Jamie Ewings stranded.
Things went from bad to worse for the hosts when Colin Nish saw red for a second bookable offence just before the hour mark.
Dundee took full advantage as Ryan Conroy found the top corner with a brilliant 25-yard strike and MacDonald scored his second from the penalty spot.
Jordan Kirkpatrick got one back for the Sons with a cool finish but Gavin Rae side-footed into the bottom corner to secure a third win in a row for Dundee.
