Nottingham Forest midfielder Jack Blake joins Mansfield on loan

Nottingham Forest midfielder Jack Blake has joined League Two Mansfield Town on a one-month loan.

The 19-year-old Scotland youth international, who is yet to play a senior game for Forest, was signed in time for Saturday's match at Torquay.

"I'm really looking forward to the opportunity of playing in League Two.

"There's nothing like playing first-team football and for Mansfield to give this opportunity is excellent for me," he told the Stags website.

Blake helped Forest reach the FA Youth Cup semi-finals last season before losing on penalties to Norwich City.
