Matt Gill: Exeter re-sign Bristol Rovers midfielder on loan

Exeter have re-signed Bristol Rovers midfielder Matt Gill on loan until the end of the year.

Gill made 164 appearances during his first spell with the Grecians between 2006 and 2009.

The 32-year-old went on to play for Norwich before joining Rovers in 2011.

He has featured 50 times for the League Two club but, after struggling with a knee injury last season, he has been told by manager John Ward he is no longer in his first-team plans.
