Coleraine manager Oran Kearney is to meet with some disgruntled supporters on Tuesday night to discuss the club's poor form so far this season.

The Bannsiders lie ninth in the Irish Premiership table on 14 points, with just three wins from their 12 fixtures.

"Fair to expect with current form that people have questions - deserve answers," said Kearney on Twitter.

"If I was a fan I would expect this - fans are entitled to access and contact time," added the Coleraine boss.

"After reserve match will meet with anyone who has queries with our current form, look forward to chatting to all concerned.

"Tough times never last - tough people do," insisted Kearney.

The Ballycastle Road club have struggled to live up to pre-season expectations, having retained the services of Howard Beverland and Stephen Lowry, and added the likes of Stephen Carson and Gary Browne to their squad.

The club crashed out of the League Cup to Crusaders after extra-time, having struggled to overcome Loughgall in the second round in August.

A 3-1 defeat at home to Glentoran on Saturday added to the frustration of the manager and the dissatisfaction of some fans.

"When you go in 1-0 up at the break you expect to kick on in the second half. But, like too many times this season when we've found ourselves in this position, we haven't done enough to see the game out," Kearney told the Coleraine FC website after the game.

"To concede two goals in a minute is criminal at any level and you don't deserve to win games with spells like that.

"I don't know what happened us. I'm at a point, and I've said it to the players, where I really don't know what's happening.

"After we conceded the goals we spent 15 minutes or so feeling sorry for ourselves and then got ourselves going again and created four really good chances to draw ourselves level.

"But it's very disappointing because it means we are not learning our lessons from previous games."
