Crewe Alexandra: Man City's George Evans joins on loan

Crewe have signed George Evans on loan from Manchester City until 3 February.

The 18-year-old has joined the League One side having yet to make a professional appearance since signing a full-time deal at the Etihad in 2012.

The Cheadle-born midfielder has played for England at Under-16 and Under-17 level, and last year faced Germany in a friendly for the Under-19 side.

He arrives at Gresty Road with the Alex 22nd in the table after a 3-1 defeat by Sheffield United at the weekend.
