Welling United 2-1 Luton Town

  • Published

Welling moved into round two of the FA Cup with victory over Luton, ending the visitors' nine-game unbeaten run.

Lee Clarke's close-range finish opened the scoring for the hosts before Joe Healy found the bottom corner to double the advantage.

Paul Benson gave the Hatters hope with a close-range header but the visitors could not find an equaliser.

Defeat ends Luton's hopes of repeating their fifth-round heroics of last season as Welling progressed.
