Chris Beardsley: Bristol Rovers extend Preston striker's loan

Bristol Rovers have extended the loan spell of Preston striker Chris Beardsley until 5 January.
Beardsley has started all four matches and scored two goals since joining the League Two club on 31 October.
Manager John Ward told the club website:, external "Chris is a really good team player, and a senior pro who brings experience to our young team.
"As well as scoring a couple of goals, he is hard working and has a great attitude, both on and off the pitch."
Ward added: "He has done everything I hoped he would do here, and more, and I am delighted he has extended his loan with us."
Beardsley scored three goals in 22 appearances for the Lilywhites last season, before being made available for transfer over the summer.
He remained with the League One side at the beginning of the current campaign, but has yet to play a game.
His former clubs include Stevenage, Kettering, York, Mansfield and Kidderminster.
