Connor Essam: Dartford sign Crawley Town defender on loan

Conference Premier side Dartford have signed Crawley defender Connor Essam on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old centre-back has made three appearances for the League One side this season, but only started in one of those matches.

"Connor needs games and he will get plenty of opportunities in the next month," Reds boss Richie Barker said.

"He is still an important part of my plans, but he needed to get matches under his belt."

Essam joined Crawley in January from Gillingham and has made 12 appearances in total for the West Sussex club.

He is available for Dartford's match at home to against Gateshead on Saturday.
