Plymouth Argyle have signed Northern Ireland Under-21 striker Caolan Lavery on loan from Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
The 21-year-old, who made his Owls debut from the bench against Burnley this term, is on loan until 1 January.
The Canadian-born forward had trials at Tottenham and Portsmouth before joining Ipswich in 2010.
He then signed for Wednesday in 2011 and went on loan at Southend last season, making just one appearance.
He is the second striker that manager John Sheridan has brought in on loan following Tope Obadeyi's arrival from Bury.
