Ten-man Chesterfield remained top of League Two after holding on for a draw at home to Dagenham & Redbridge.
Zavon Hines should have put Daggers ahead from the spot when he was pulled back by Ian Evatt, but he fired wide.
Chesterfield were reduced to 10-men before the interval after Sam Hird tripped Reece Murphy outside the box.
Marc Richards' penalty put the Spireites ahead after Brian Saah handled, but Abu Ogogo's superb strike gave the visitors a deserved point.
