League One leaders Brentford earned victory over Peterborough after goals from Adam Forshaw, Sam Saunders and Clayton Donaldson sealed the points.

Forshaw converted from the penalty spot after keeper Robert Olejnik brought down Saunders just inside the area.

Donaldson hit the post before Jack Payne's shot looped in off the bar.

Saunders rifled home from outside the box for 2-1 and Forshaw saw a second-half penalty saved before Donaldson's close-range effort sealed the win.

With Leyton Orient not in action and Wolves only drawing at Tranmere, the Bees - who have take 37 points from a possible 39 - have a three-point lead at the top of the table.
