Kidderminster Harriers have signed Jack Dyer on a one-month loan deal from Burton Albion.

The 22-year-old midfielder has played 62 times for Burton since arriving from Aston Villa in the summer of 2010.

But his last Brewers appearance came in the League Two victory at Chesterfield on 19 October.

He will now have to wait for his Harriers debut after their New Year's Day trip to Hereford was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Harriers manager Steve Burr revealed that he first came close to signing Dyer when he left Villa three summers ago.

"He's a lad who I know from when he was at Villa," Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"He came to us from Villa, then Burton came in for him and signed him and he's been there for the last three seasons.

"He wasn't playing that often at Burton, so we made an inquiry and they've let us have him for a month."
