St Mirren's Gary Harkins to join Oldham on loan

St Mirren midfielder Gary Harkins has agreed to join Oldham Athletic on loan for the rest of the season, BBC Scotland has learned.
The 29-year-old joined the Buddies in the summer after he had finished his second spell at Dundee.
He has not always been a regular for the Paisley side this season, but has scored twice in 16 appearances.
Harkins journeyed down to complete the move to Boundary Park following St Mirren's 2-1 defeat by Kilmarnock.
Loan signing from Newcastle Adam Campbell fired the Paisley side ahead with a goal on his debut but Rory McKenzie levelled for Killie.
And Kris Boyd struck in injury time to move Kilmarnock above Danny Lennon's side into eighth in the Scottish Premiership.
"I can't believe that we didn't take anything out of that game at all," said Lennon.
"Very disappointed to lose in the manner we did.
"It just shows you that when you give a top marksman like Kris Boyd any sniff or any opportunity like that, that's the damage that he can do.
"I thought we handled him very well for the 90 minutes, we just didn't handle him enough for the 92.
"I thought wee Adam Campbell certainly came in and showed some glimpses of what he's going to offer us and he's going to be a handful.
"We're disappointed that we've not kicked off 2014 with a victory. But, at the midway point, we certainly know that we're in touching distance of that top six, like many other teams round about us.
"It's the one that's going to gather that bit of momentum and put together that little run that will have the season of note and we'll certainly be in the mix for that."
