Bottom side Morton played out a goalless draw with Raith as they ended a run of seven successive defeats.

Rovers 'keeper Ross Laidlaw parried David Robertson's drive and opposite number Nicolas Caraux did likewise to save Douglas Hill's header.

Laidlaw got behind a Garry O'Connor effort and pushed Dougie Imrie's strike behind as Morton pushed for the opener.

Raith came to life in the closing stages but could not record their first victory in four games.
