Second-placed Monaco maintained the pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Paris St-Germain with a goal in each half against mid-table Toulouse.

Claudio Ranieri's side had not won in three league matches but briefly moved within two points of PSG, who beat Nantes later on Sunday.

France Under-21 defender Layvin Kurzawa scored for the third straight away game to put Monaco ahead.

Substitute Lucas Ocampos clinched the away win in the dying stages.

The Argentine winger thumped a spectacular strike past Toulouse goalkeeper Ali Ahamada after replacing £50m forward Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian, who joined the Principality side from Atletico Madrid in the summer, was withdrawn with 20 minutes left after wasting three goalscoring chances.
