Coleraine moved above Warrenpoint Town into 10th place in the Premiership thanks to this comfortable home win.

Full-back Aaron Canning met Ruairi Harkin's free-kick with a close-range header for the 27th-minute opener.

Eoin Bradley added the second from the penalty spot on 51 minutes after David McDaid was brought down in the area.

Debutant Joe McNeill provided the cross from the left for Gary Browne to convert a tidy finish at the near post after 73 minutes to seal the victory.

For Canning, it was his second goal of the season and only his fourth in 169 appearances.

In the first half, Eugene Ferry denied Daniel Hughes, while the Warrenpoint player also clipped a shot wide.

Following Bradley's 10th goal of the season, Browne's sweet finish made it 3-0.

Harkin had an opportunity to get his name on the scoresheet with two minutes remaining but his penalty kick cannoned off the bar.

Oran Kearney's side now enjoy a two-point advantage over Barry Gray's top-flight newcomers.
