Transfer window: Peterborough loan Mendez-Laing to Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Town have signed Peterborough winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on an initial month's loan.
Birmingham-born Mendez-Laing, 21, started his career with Wolves before moving to Peterborough in July 2012.
"He's something a little bit different for us," caretaker boss Michael Jackson told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He's got that pace and power about him, that speed. On his day he can destroy teams. He knows this level and I think he's a good acquisition."
Since joining Posh on a permanent deal from Wolves in July 2012, Mendez-Laing scored six goals in 41 appearances, with four as a substitute, including the second-half winner in Town's 1-0 defeat at London Road in October.
He also had a season-long loan spell with Posh, in 2010-11, when he scored five goals in 40 games.
"I've seen him a couple of times," added Jackson. "He can make an impact.
"We saw that when he came on against us down there. Bang, great goal."
Jackson has now made three January loan window signings inside eight days, following last week's arrival of Wigan Athletic midfielder Fraser Fyvie and Celtic striker Bahrudin Atajic.
