Newport County P-P Fleetwood Town

Friday's League Two game between Newport County and Fleetwood Town has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

It is the fifth postponement in the club's last six scheduled home matches, and leaves manager Justin Edinburgh with a considerable fixture backlog.

County share the Rodney Parade stadium with Newport Gwent Dragons rugby team.

There is a pitch inspection on Saturday ahead of the scheduled Pro 12 fixture against Edinburgh on Sunday.

And Newport County are due to play AFC Wimbledon in League Two on Tuesday, with more bad weather forecast for Wales ahead of that date.

The match against has been re-scheduled for 4 March.
