Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley has joined Swedish second-tier club Ostersunds FK on loan until May.

The 21-year-old spent the first half of this term with League One side Bradford City, but only made one appearance.

And that was a match to forget, with the Bantams losing 5-0 to Hartlepool United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Ripley's temporary departure still leaves Boro with three first-team keepers in Tomas Mejias, Jason Steele and Dimitrios Konstantopoulos.
