Kidderminster Harriers 1-0 Barnet

Michael Gash scored the only goal as Kidderminster beat fellow Conference Premier play-off hopefuls Barnet.

Harriers top scorer Gash took his tally to 13 for the season with a deflected effort in the 60th minute.

The Bees, who had dominated large parts of the game, had keeper Graham Stack sent off late on for taking out an on-rushing Marvin Johnson.

Eighth-placed Harriers are now kept outside the Conference Premier play-off zone only on goal difference.

After picking up seven points put of a possible nine from Gary Whild's first three games in charge, they are one of four teams on 57 points, having moved level with Barnet, Grimsby Town and fifth-placed Halifax.

Before the game, it was confirmed that Kidderminster midfielder Santiago Aloi has moved on a month's loan to Worcester City, who currently share the Harriers' Aggborough home.

Kidderminster Harriers manager Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"The lads were exceptional. You could see a bit of pressure but we said the other night about how they defended and today they went one better.

"In the first half we weren't quite where we should be. We didn't want to wait until something happened before we got a bit better and I thought the second half was more like us.

"It was a blatant red card. Marvin Johnson got there first and the lad has just clattered into him. That's what we wanted Marvin to do - to get into those positions and cause them problems with his pace."
