Ryan Edwards: Morecambe sign Blackburn defender on loan

Morecambe have signed defender Ryan Edwards on a month's loan from Lancashire neighbours Blackburn Rovers.
The 20-year-old, who was previously captain of Rovers' youth team, has yet to appear for the club at senior level.
However, Edwards does have Football League experience from loan spells at Rochdale, Fleetwood Town, Chesterfield and Tranmere Rovers.
Morecambe manager Jim Bentley hinted at strengthening his defence following a 5-1 thrashing at Accrington in midweek.
