Hartlepool extend Jack Barmby loan from Manchester United

League Two Hartlepool United have agreed a deal with Manchester United to extend the loan of Jack Barmby until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old winger has spent the last two months at Victoria Park, during which time he has scored three goals in eight league appearances.

Pools have seen their play-off push falter over the last week following defeats by Oxford and Mansfield.

Barmby originally joined Pools in January on a one-month deal.
