Southend United have signed Norwich City winger Jacob Murphy on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old, who has made one senior appearance for the Canaries, played seven times during a spell at League One Swindon earlier this season.

He won the FA Youth Cup last season with Norwich alongside twin brother Josh, who has featured in seven Premier League games this term.

Fellow Canaries youngster Jamar Loza is also on loan at Southend.

Shrimpers boss Phil Brown said: "I'm delighted we've been able to bring in Jacob. He is highly rated by Norwich City and has got that pace we can utilise between now and the end of the season."
