Paris St-Germain made light of the absence of top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic to comfortably beat Reims and move 16 points clear at the top of the French league.

Ibrahimovic, with 25 goals in Ligue 1, was missing with a thigh problem, but fellow striker Edinson Cavani scored the opener at Parc des Princes.

Cavani poked in Gregory van der Wiel's cross two minutes before half-time.

Reims defender Aissa Mandi scored two own goals after the break.

Second-placed Monaco face Nantes at home on Sunday. If they fail to win, PSG need to win only one of their last six games to seal the title.

Laurent Blanc's PSG side travel to Chelsea for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final second leg on Tuesday, holding a 3-1 advantage over the Premier League side.

They will again be without Sweden striker Ibrahimovic, who is expected to be out for a month after picking up the injury in the first leg.
