Cardiff City: Crystal Palace boss happy to meet Premier League

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is willing to meet the Premier League following claims his club were given Cardiff's team in advance of their 3-0 win in early April.

The Bluebirds allege Palace knew their line-up 24 hours before kick-off.

"I log every session that I do and I'll show that I picked my team on the Monday before," said Pulis.

Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "We trust the Premier League to deal with whatever is required."

The Norwegian, whose club are 19th in the league table, added: "We've had issues internally. We've dealt with it and we've sent a report to the Premier League. That is the end of the matter for us."

Cardiff's Aron Gunnarsson was implicated in the alleged leak, but the midfielder denied any involvement to the club. Solskjaer added that the player remains in his plans for Saturday's match against Stoke.

"We will defend his name and reputation to the edge of the cliff," said Solskjaer. "He will be involved in the squad, definitely."

Former Stoke boss Pulis, who has guided the Selhurst Park outfit to the verge of safety in the top flight, added: "That team was worked with for a week and there were no changes whatsoever."

The Premier League has said it will investigate the allegations, having received a formal complaint from Cardiff following the game.

Cardiff said in a document seen by BBC Sport editor David Bond that the result should not stand.

The Welsh club say Palace have broken three Premier League rules: B15, B16 and B17. Of these, B17 is potentially the most serious as it states that no club shall disclose or divulge confidential information.

They also claim Palace have breached the Football Association's rules by bringing the game into disrepute, although at this stage a formal complaint has not been lodged with the FA.

Significantly, Cardiff claim Palace's actions were "an attempt to obtain a sporting advantage".

The defeat by Palace on 5 April left Solskjaer's side 19th, where they remain despite a 1-0 win over Southampton a week later.
