Morecambe and Bury ended their respective campaigns with one point apiece in a drab Lancashire Derby.

The hosts threatened in the first half with Ryan Williams and Kevin Ellison both going close.

Shakers stopper Brian Jensen saved twice from Andy Fleming before Danny Mayor missed the target when well placed for the visitors.

Ryan Edwards could have won it late on for the Shrimps but he volleyed over from six -yards.

Bury end their season with just one defeat in 10 while in contrast Morecambe finish with one win in 11.

Meanwhile the Shakers have announced the permanent signing of on-loan midfielder Danny Mayor from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who won the Bury's players' player of the year award, has agreed a three-year deal.
