Airdrieonians 2-0 Arbroath
- Published
Arbroath have been relegated to Scottish League Two after defeat away to in-form Airdrieonians.
With East Fife losing 4-1 to Ayr United, a draw would have given Paul Sheerin's team a stay of execution and a place in the play-offs.
Kenny Deuchar went close for Arbroath before Caolan McAleer scored with a curling shot shortly before half-time.
The Red Lichties left themselves short at the back as they pressed forward and Liam Coogans converted from a corner.
